personal

• Personality → Yuuta is polite, generally. He uses appropriate language when talking to upperclassman, and he'll say please when asking for something. If something isn't too his liking, however, he'll be quick to yell (and often, kick). Yuuta, growing up, had to deal with several interesting characters, but he's never quite gotten used to the different personalities people have. He has his own morals set in stone, and if someone else doesn't (which, unfortunately for Yuuta, they usually don't) agree with them, he doesn't understand.

He's quite childish, no matter how adult he tries to act. When he does act like an adult (well, when he thinks he acts like an adult, anyway) he ends up looking like a bully--though he'd never hurt anyone, in reality. He's far too soft for that. (He doesn't think so, but he quite likes to be in denial about most things.)

Yuuta's largest problem is his knack for aquiring inferiority complexes. His most famous to date is the one featuring his older brother, Fuji Syuusuke. Though Yuuta loved his brother before starting middle school (and still does, though getting him to admit it would be a feat to brag about for the rest of your life), he couldn't help but think that his brother was absolutely perfect on purpose. He wanted to defeat his brother; to prove to himself (and everyone else) that he wasn't second best. He was tired of living in his older brother's shadow.

Recently, Yuuta has matured (if just barely) and doesn't yearn so much to be better than his brother. He'll never stop trying, of course, but he has other things on his mind now, rather than just the thought of defeating Syuusuke. He knows, deep down, that his brother is far too strong in tennis to catch up to any time soon. He used to hate that, but now, he doesn't mind so much.

• Appearance → Yuuta is a little more than five feet tall and a little less than 125 lbs, and though he often jogs and participates in lifting weights, doesn't have many muscles that you can see. He prefers to wear slightly baggy clothing--though not the kind that falls off if you move too much and sneakers. He's actually quite self-concious of how he looks (another one of those inferiority complexes sprouting from his family) though the only thing terribly unique about him is a scar on his forehead in the shape of an X. He can't remember when (or how) he got it, but he's had it for as long as he can remember. He keeps his hair short, and it is a light brown. (He doesn't wash it as often as he should, because he claims it's too short to waste the shampoo on.)

• Quirks → He likes anything crammed with sugar and can stay awake (playing video games, of course) for more than three days at a time if he has enough cake in his system. He likes anything that has raspberries, and strawberries are his second favorite snack of choice. He bites his lip on a regular basis, resulting in his bottom lip bleeding on more than one occasion. (Sometimes he won't even realize it until someone else points it out.) Yuuta likes shiny things, and he has an embarressing attachment to his favorite childhood anime, Hamtaro. Yuuta is extremely dense when it comes to all things romantic. (As in, really, he has no clue what is what. Poor thing.)
